There's a 101 different quotes about time and how it's valuable. I think we really under estimate what time actually means and how we so mismanage our time. For instance time spent blogging, what's the benefit to cost ratio for the time spent. We really should ask that each time we allow ourselves to spend time.
We love our families and yet there's never enough time to spend and then there's the choice of this one or that one. And why do we make more time for family that's hours away versus family that lives right around the corner.
Is the kitchen clean enough that i have to say no to my 4 year old who wants me to play playdough? Or how about that time spent away from the kids, is it necessary some times yes it is! We all need to be at our best, do our best and give our best. Just make sure it's the right things we are giving up our best time for. The hockey game, a spotless kitchen is that more important than nurturing our families and loved ones.
